My Own Book is
proud to partner with the Suisun City Kiwanis Club to present reading
and promote literacy at the Suisun City Kiwanis Club's weekly Movie
Night (every Saturday) at the Waterfront. My Own Book brings in
community representatives, leaders, and icons (such as Sparky the fire
dog!) to read books to children before the movie begins. This event
runs through the end of October. The Kiwanis also collect books for My
Own Book at this event! If you are interested in volunteering with My
